Within the Ferrari world theme park

Thousands of people have for the world's first Ferrari theme park opening descended on Abu Dhabi Yas Iceland.


Ferrari world is the world's largest indoor Park - offers over 20 rides and attractions.


A highlight of the theme park is the formula Rossa roller coaster, the world's fastest speed of 240 km/h and creates new feeling in a Ferrari F1 car.


Alternatively there is the Fiorano GT challenge, where visitors can take their friends in a Ferrari F430 Spider at speeds of up to 95 km/h race.


Other attractions include a Flume Ride through the heart of a Ferrari engine, complete with huge butt inner chambers, a maze of corridors and an exhaust pipe.


There is also the G Force drive that through the Rood and back takes passengers on a journey to over 62 m back down, or an interactive 4D-Fantasy-Abenteuer.


The Paddock is newly created, behind the scenes of a Grand Prix - team technical trailers, a garage with real F1 cars.Or there is a lot of Ferrari concept cars, to consider, when the carousel to visit.


There are also a driving and racing school trip across Italy for juniors and an antenna for a Ferrari.


"Ferrari world Abu Dhabi enthusiasts, fans and families allow Ferrari in a unique and intense fun way will experience", a spokesman said.


The building also has VIP lounges, restaurants and cafes with Italian and international cuisine inspired.

Lebanon: Tiny country offers layers of history and remnants of many civilizations

Lebanon has been conquered and colonized many times over in the last three millennia. Among the famous invaders: Alexander the Great, Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar and the Muslim warrior Saladin.

Others include Persians, Romans, Egyptians, Christian Crusaders, Ottoman Turks, the French and English in World War I and, more recently, Israelis. Lebanon’s rival Christians and Muslims also upset the peace, most notably in the 1975-90 civil war.

Many invaders left monuments and other remnants of their civilizations that can be visited in day trips from Lebanon’s urbane capital, Beirut. You can go east to the Roman ruins at Baalbek, north to the Crusader-era Citadel of Raymond de Saint-Gilles that looms over the city of Tripoli, south to the much fought-over Beaufort fortress, or northeast to the towering Cedars of Lebanon, and be back in Beirut in time for dinner.
